GENERAL :-
These single stage coolant pumps are used on all machine tools performing TURNING, GRINDING, MILLING, DRILLING, CUTTING, SLITTING, And POLISHING Operations. In specific cooling of cutting tools and work piece by discharging Coolant at appropriate pressure and quantily.
SINGLE STAGE COOLANT PUMPS CONSTRUCTION :-
It is in principal a centrifugal pump having shaft built in with electric motor. The impeller is made of a special material of high resistance to abrasion . The large cross sectional area of the passage allow the supply of coolant pump without danger of congestion. The single stage coolant pumps are suitable for coolant having viscosity up to 150 centistokes and temperature up to 100°C.
ELECTRICAL MOTOR:-
It is a totally enclosed squirrel cage induction motor, suitable for 415 v , 50HZ , 3phase A.C. supply (Other voltages/Frequencies on request). The aluminum dia cast rotor along with shaft and impeller is dynamically balanced to achieve silent operation higher output motors are fan cooled. Insulation class ‘B’ protection – IP-44, voltage variation + 10%RPM-2800+3% , Rating (CONTINUOUS)
